I have both an Oasys and the Omnisphere VI. From the way you worded your
statement , it appears you may not be using the Category tab that sits directly above
the name of the program or combi If you click and open that tab, then choose which category you want , all of the patches or combis will appear. e.g. all the string type patches and combis will come up . The Oasys does not possess such a detailed tag/database scheme like Omnisphere. The only way I can think of to achieve your goal would be to crate your own database in a database app of your choice in a separate desktop or laptop computer.
You can however take each program or combi and toggle the 'Favorite' button on and save the data to a user bank and rename the bank to your liking accessed in Global mode > Category
