why cant i record the Karma/drum track

i am recording the audio of the M3 whose audio outs are input to a firebox inputs and these are out put to a mixer whose audio outs are connected to a YAMAHA POCKETRAX digital audio recorder. a microphone is in the mixer. I use the mixer because it has effects in it and i dont always want to use the computer.
vocals and the M3 sound are heard but the drum/karma ge are not
being recorded. what am i not doing right?
thru the headphone of the Firebox i can hear the Karma or the drum track
but it isnt being recorded to the pocketrax. quite a dilemma
