Hi Péter,

thanks for the link!

The automated translation seems to have a random fun algorithm. But of course much better then without any translation.

greetings to Budapest

Ebse's interview is now online in english.

I have added a short CX-3 demo file... although I am not really into organs OASYS' modeling organ was not used until now, although it can really sound very nice.

Well, I'm not sure I'm that interesting.... maybe a little odd though

Anyhow... as I said on KF, my sincere thanks to Peter for his patience and professionalism, working with me, around my busy schedule (and a couple of computer nightmares!), and his nasty cold, in order to get this interview finished.

Peter is truly a pleasure to both know and work with. A really nice guy!

Warm regards Peter, from Brenda and myself.

Cheers..

Nigel

Odd is good

I was sufficiently rivetted that I only noticed the Hosa cable on a second look

*grin* Yeah, it was the only cable long enough, (60 feet) to reach back to my 'Deeps' from where we had moved the Oasys to, to get a nice shot and so I could keep on playing while Brenda carried on setting up for her shoot.

Btw, what about the green light?

Holy shite, Nigel, you've been through a ton of kit!!! I'm really enjoying these interviews (thanks to Peter). I appreciated the pics too; although a photo of Kate Bush in her prime would have been nice.... Where is that colleen, now?

Interesting to see and learn about our OASYS gang here.
Cheers,
Eric

If only I had sold so much of it, I'd have one heck of a collection these days huh?

As for Kate, I'm working on that for you...... as I had a couple of photos a friend took of her back in 1977 which I am trying to relocate after the last move.. though having 'bumped' into her (literally) in NY a couple of years ago, she is still a stunning looking woman....

Fascinating article, Nigel (and Peter) - great to learn something about our long-time member(s).

In the army as a tuba player - who woulda thunk?

Nigel,

thanks a lot for the nice words!

.. what I always forgot to ask you - in your equipment list there is one company's name missing - Oberheim. Didn´t you like their sound?

I was glad when I sold my Matrix, as the slow envelopes drove me crazy, whereas the OB-8 I liked.

cheers
peter
