The KARMA Triton Installers do not properly support Vista/Windows 7 at this time. We apologize for any inconvenience, but by following this workaround, you can successfully install KARMA Triton under those operating systems:

Step 1:
  1. First, uninstall any version that is currently installed using "Programs and Features" from your Control Panel.
  2. Then, run the latest version installer (v1.3.1) that you downloaded from the e-mail link you were sent. (If you need the latest version installer, please contact support@karma-lab.com with your customer registration number and full name and address.)
  3. During the installation procedure, the installer asks you on one screen where you want to install the program. The default location is:
    C:/Program Files/Karma Lab/KARMA Triton/
  4. Change this to be *your* user account documents folder, i.e.
    C:/Users/Your Account/Documents/Karma Lab/KARMA Triton
...by clicking on the "Change" button, and browsing to C:/Users/Your Account/Documents/, and then adding the required text on the Folder Name line:

    KT Vista 1

  5. Then click OK, so that it ends up looking like this:

    KT Vista 2

  6. Finish the rest of the installation, then reboot as instructed. Do not launch the software at this time.
Step 2:
  1. Download and unzip this file: KT_Vista_Fix.zip
After unzipping, you will have a folder containing a single file named KARMA Triton.exe.
  2. Locate the KARMA Triton.exe file in your install folder (the path listed above), and replace it with this new one. Do not launch the software at this time.
Step 3:

Go to the following location and download the latest PACE Interlok drivers for your computer (make sure to get 64 bit if that is what your computer is); install them, and reboot. Look in the upper right corner of the page:
http://www.paceap.com

Step 4:

Launch the software. If you get a message that "The version of the user interface associated with this software is too old..." answer OK.

KARMA Triton should now be successfully running on Vista/Windows 7. Note that if you are running the software for the first time, you will now need to complete the authorization process - [click here] for more details.
