| About these demos |
|
 These .mp3 audio demos are short, real-time performances from the 128 new LAC-1 Programs, utilizing the KARMA function. It should be noted that KARMA has the ability to modify certain program attributes when it is activated, such as changing the attack, decay, filter cutoff, EG intensity, effect levels - virtually anything that can be controlled with a CC. Therefore, some of these programs sound quite different from the way they play when KARMA is off - it's almost like getting additional programs as part of the deal.

The mp3s were recorded from the analog L/R outputs of the OASYS, into a MOTU 896 Interface, 48.000k 16 bit, into Digital Performer 5.0 on a Mac running OSX 10.3.9, and exported to MP3 using DP's L.A.M.E Exporter, with the following settings:
Channels: Stereo
Stereo Mode: Normal
Output Sample Rate: 48.000 kHz
Encode Quality: High
Encoding Mode: Constant Bit Rate
Bit rate: 256 kbps (high)
No additional audio processing was used, other than some minor level-matching gain adjustments. |
