KARMA Triton (Update Version 1.3.1)

IMPORTANT NOTES:
- Note: You CANNOT install the full application with these files - you can only update an existing installation.
Please contact support@karma-lab.com if you need the full installer.
- If you are not sure of your current version, select "About KARMA Triton" from the Application Menu (Mac)
or Help Menu (Windows).
- Always backup any data you have modified or created which pertains to KARMA Triton before performing any update, especially if you have stored it in the same directory as the application, or its sub-directories.
- Note: you should not have to reauthorize (Challenge/Response) after performing this upgrade, but if for some reason when you launch the new version it says you must authorize, try the same RESPONSE from last time. If you no longer have it (or it doesn't work), then submit a new online registration and explain what happened (in the comments), and we'll provide you with a new Response ASAP!

(OS 9 Version 9.2.2 or Classic) This file will update previous versions of KARMA Triton to version 1.3.1.24. It installs a new folder containing the entire installation onto your selected hard drive - your previous installation will not be touched. A previous version of KARMA Triton must be located or the installer will not run. If you need a full version that does not require a previous version being installed, please contact support@karma-lab.com.
Note: there is no Mac OS X version at this time.
After downloading and using Stuff-it Expander to unstuff it, you will have the “KARMA Triton 1.3.1 Updater” installer file. As with any software, run the installer (by double-clicking it) with virus detection software disabled. Note: If you need a decompression utility, these can be downloaded for free from the links on our File Utilities Page.

This file will update previous versions of KARMA Triton to version 1.3.1.24. Your previous installation will be replaced with the new version. Normally, this will not touch any new files you have created, but as a general precaution you should BACK UP ALL OF YOUR FILES BEFORE INSTALLING. A previous version of KARMA Triton must be located or the installer will not run. If you need a full version that does not require a previous version being installed, please contact support@karma-lab.com.
This also installs our "Virtual MIDI Driver (VMD)," so that you can easily connect the input and output of KARMA Triton to your other computer-based music programs, such as sequencers, soft synths, etc.
IMPORTANT: This installer will replace the default KT Karma Preload 1.1.kdf file. If you have modified this and did not save it with a different name, BACK IT UP BEFORE RUNNING THE INSTALLER!
Save the file to your hard drive, double-click to launch the installer. If you receive the message "The publisher could not be verified" etc., click "Run" and follow the instructions. As with any software, you may wish to disable virus detection software during installation to be safe.

There is no official installer for Vista or Windows 7 at this time. However, click here for special instructions about how to install under Vista and Windows 7. You will need to request a new full installer from support@karma-lab.com - please include your full name and KT Registration Number (KTR-XXXXX-XXXXX-XXXXX).
