This mid-tempo Ambient/Electronica Performance presents an ethereal spacey atmosphere reminiscent of the musical output by Space Music artists such as Jonn Serrie & Michael Stearns. It consists of a suitably electronic/synthetic drum groove with KARMA pitch-bending and a touch of delay, a busy resonant synth bass pattern with velocity controlled filter and delay effects, a random-note synth pattern (Synth 1) driving a "multi-wave" voice (where several different wavesamples are triggered according to velocity level), a second, more sparse multi-wave synth pattern with KARMA pitch-bending (Synth 2) which works with Synth 1 to create an ethereal "particle-dance" effect, and a rhythm-randomized synth strings chord stab pattern (Synth Comp) with KARMA panning. A matching electronic drum kit fill with synth toms provides different fill variations on the Fill button.

Two different polyphonic soloing experiences are provided in the RH area, contolled by A.Sw2: a mellow atmospheric english horn timbre with vibrato (A.Sw2 = off), and an acoustic piano with an evocative ooh-voice pad layer behind it (A.Sw2 = on), with the damper pedal only latching the piano elements. A.Sw1 drops them both by an octave for a lower soloing range. The A.Switches are not set to be stored in the scenes, so they can be freely toggled on and off at any time without scene changes affecting them - so you'll find the english horn lead in all scenes.

Motif Arps/Special Notes
  • Two Motif arps can be added as additional elements: Pads 9 to 12 trigger a synthetic ethnic-bell pattern (panned right), while Pads 13 to 16 trigger a staccato pan flute pattern (panned left) - both of which have ascending scale steps based on the last-played chord and can be layered on top of each other.

Scenes (Master) Description
Scene 1 (simplest) - synth bongos create a coconut-like ethnic pattern, single synth bass notes every 8 beats, with the synth comp taking center stage by playing an arpeggiated 16ths pattern, while synth 1 is muted and synth 2 does sparse wave-sequency sounds with bend; high-pitched synth snare and toms fill with tight repeats
Scene 2 (simpler) - synth congas and shakers increase the energy, synth bass doubles up, synth 1 takes the focus with a hypnotic doubled line, while synth 2 adds some very occasional notes with bend and synth comp tosses in a few sparse notes; synth toms and snare fill with slowly rising pitch-bend
Scene 3 (simpler) - synth hi-hats are added to the conga and shakers, synth bass adds a third note to the pattern, synth 2 takes center stage with a cascading echoing kaleidoscopic effect, while synth 1 and synth comp inject short random pitches; synth toms fill with pitch-bend
